Class Make-ups are encouraged – If you miss a class, you may make it up within the current session at one of the other regular classes. Or a friend could come in your place or join you for another class. Guests under age 13 need instructor permission to attend.
Be a considerate yogi. Try to arrive a few minutes early to decompress. If you need to be late it is better to arrive late and do a little yoga then not come at all. If you are late, please remove shoes and come in quietly. Please unroll mat quietly. Should you need to leave class early please leave before final relaxation (approximately the last ten minutes of class). Turn off all cell phones.
Try not to eat a heavy meal in the two hours prior to class. Wear loose comfortable clothes. Layers are a good idea.
Yoga is not competitive. Be patient and compassionate with yourself. Rest whenever you need to rest and ask me for assistance if something is not working for you.
Please be sure to let me know prior to class if you are injured, sick, or have a medical condition that I need to be aware of.
While in class enjoy your “recess” from your busy life.
