Vibrational Healing Workshop

If you ever get a chance to attend a workshop with Jason Kniola do it! I attended the Yoga and Vibrational Healing Workshop today at Ross House with Jason and his sister, Lisa Joesten. Lisa did a great job with the yoga part. Jason used gongs, singing bowls, drums, bells, and even a conch shell to help us let go. Words can’t describe how amazing this was. It’s really something you should experience for yourself. Thanks to Jason and Lisa.

Introduction to Meditation Techniques Workshop – 3/30/13 UU Church West Lafayette

A-REC (the Adult Religious Exploration Council at the UU Church) is pleased to sponsor an Introduction to Meditation Techniques workshop this Saturday. Jason Kniola, MS, NCC, LMHC, LCAC, LMT Hakomi Body-Centered Psychotherapist (and founder of Monday Meditation!) will be presenting a dynamic workshop teaching various daily meditation techniques. If you’ve been looking for some help in establishing a meditation practice or are just curious to learn more, this is a great opportunity. Techniques will include: Vipassana Meditation, Mantra Meditation, and other techniques to aid in stress relief, relaxation, and helping to maintain a calm and centered mind.

We are requesting a donation of $10 for the workshop which can be paid by check or cash at the event. No one will be turned away, so if finances are a concern, please let us know. Cancelled Classes

Hi Yogis,

Sad to say I need to cancel the following classes due to laryngitis (and, maybe weather) -for sure the laryngitis.  Trust me my voice is less than soothing right now.

Cancelled Classes:

  • McAllister:  5:30pm Tues. 3/5
  • Morton :  10:00am and 1:00pm on Wed. 3/6

I will let you know if any further cancellations are necessary!

I will offer some make up classes in the next few weeks.

I hope you can join me for the core workshop on Sat.  We will be exploring different aspects of the core not just the abdominal muscles. So don’t fret this won’t be 2 hours of sit-ups my any means!

Yoga is known to help reduce stress. When we are less stressed we feel a general sense of safety and well-being. In this workshop, we will focus on developing awareness of our bodies and our connections to the earth, which will allow us to feel safe, release stress, and find peace of mind. This workshop is appropriate for all levels of yoga experience. Ages 14 & older.
